COVID-19 Update: September 1st, 2020
To our valued customers and suppliers,
At Area51 Electronics, the health and safety of our team members, customers, and suppliers are our top priorities. We are continually monitoring the latest COVID-19 updates and are taking the appropriate actions.
Area51 Electronics is continuing business operations to maintain continuity of operations of the federal critical infrastructure sectors (https://www.cisa.gov/critical-infrastructure-sectors). The US Department of Defense has issued a memorandum to the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and stated the need for the "Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce" to maintain normal operations during this time. We are included in the exemption of the 16 Critical Infrastructure Sectors that are deemed essential. We will continue to support the essential products and services required to meet national security commitments and interests of the United States.
We are here to help you, and we want to share information with you about how we continue to operate safely and effectively. Our thoughts are with anyone affected by COVID-19.
Steps We're Taking
1. We are constantly monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and federal, state, and local agencies to help ensure the actions we’re taking are in line with the latest recommendations and guidance. We are communicating regularly with our team members to keep them informed and ensure their safety and that of our customers.
2. In an effort to help prevent community spread, we have transitioned portions of our workforce to remote capability.
Precautions You Can Take
